Digital Desk: The Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation announced the 2018 and 2019 State Film Awards today. The awards, announced in collaboration with Assam's Directorate of Cultural Affairs, recognize individuals who work in different aspects of the film industry. The Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation organized the film festival to promote the production of films regarding aesthetic excellence and social issues. Many are also hopeful that the festival will contribute to the promotion of films. The following are the film awards that were announced today:
