Digital Desk: In a fresh situation, Cotton University student group president, Pranjal Sonowal, has announced that no AASU-sponsored programs will be held in Cotton.

Cotton University students group made a decision stating "At the moment, Cotton does not have an AASU unit."

Reportedly, this comes after because of organisational conflicts with the top authority, the decision was made.

It is to be mentioned that the Cotton University student Unit is involved only in community service.

Cotton University has also been accused of long-term deprivation by the AASU Central Committee."Cotton does not receive the status it deserves from AASU's central leadership" it added.

Reportedly, from today onwards no event will be organized in the courtyard of Cotton.

The aforementioned decision was made as a result of there being no representative from the cotton university AASU group on the AASU central committee.
