Meenakshi Medhi and her disciple Perrine Legoullon's solo performances on Goxai Prabesar Naas and Devadasi Nritya delighted the crowd. Rodali Bora's Bihu performance was highly appreciated by the audience. 

Digital Desk: The Chavara Culture Centre in Delhi hosted an Assamese dance evening to promote cultural friendship and harmony in diversity.

The event was inaugurated by Press Club of India President Umakant Lakera. Pranjal Pratim Das, North East Media Forum Joint Secretary and Chief Correspondent, Pratidin Times, was the Guest of Honour.

The event featured a convergence of diverse Assamese dance styles like as Sattriya dance, Devadasi dance, Bihu dance, and Bhortal dance under Meenakshi Medhi's Satkara Foundation in Delhi NCR.

Rodali Bora's Bihu performance was highly appreciated by the audience. Meenakshi Medhi and Oonmona Das gave a duet presentation on Bhortal Nritya. Meenakshi Medhi, Perrine Legoullon, and Oonmona Das concluded the event with an abhinaya-based dance number on Ajamil Upakhyan.

Chavara Cultural Centre Delhi is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to fostering peace and harmony via music, dance, art, and cultural exchange.According to Dr.Fr. Roby Kannanchira CMI, Director, Chavara Cultural Centre, Delhi, the centre intends to conduct cultural events from several Indian states every month.
