Digital Desk: Air India Express has made a significant boost to its domestic network by introducing six new daily flights, including its first direct service between Guwahati and Jaipur. Announced on Tuesday, this expansion marks a strategic move by the Tata Group-owned airline to improve connectivity between major Indian cities.

The new routes include a direct connection from Guwahati to Jaipur, which is expected to enhance tourism and business opportunities between the northeastern region and Rajasthan. Additionally, the airline has launched two new flights from Kolkata and three from Chennai, covering routes such as Kolkata-Varanasi, Chennai-Bhubaneswar, Chennai-Bagdogra, and Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram.

The Kolkata-Guwahati flight will depart daily at 12:10 PM, arriving in Guwahati at 1:25 PM. The return flight will leave Guwahati at 1:55 PM and land back in Kolkata at 4:35 PM. The new Guwahati-Jaipur route is anticipated to be a crucial link between these two cities.

With a fleet of 82 aircraft and over 380 daily flights, Air India Express continues to expand its operations in response to growing demand on these routes.
