Digital Desk: Amidst the lush greenery of Assam, Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve have set new milestones in tourism for the 2023–2024 season. With a staggering influx of visitors, both domestic and foreign, the park has seen an unprecedented surge in footfall, recording around 1.08 lakh tourists. This surge has translated into an estimated revenue of approximately Rs 4.58 crore, underlining its significance in the tourism landscape.

Opening its gates on October 15, 2023, the park witnessed a steady stream of visitors. October marked the beginning with 17,662 enthusiasts exploring the park, followed by November's robust turnout of 40,242 tourists. December saw a remarkable surge with 65,000 visitors, while January 2024 recorded a substantial 52,000 tourists.

The diverse ecosystem of Kaziranga, home to the iconic one-horned rhinoceros and vibrant wildlife, continues to captivate visitors worldwide, reaffirming its status as a premier destination for nature enthusiasts and conservationists alike.
