Digital Desk: Popular Assamese singer Majuli Nilotpal Bora's song 'Shaabaash' has been chosen as the national anthem for Indian athletes at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.
His Facebook post with the image included the following caption: "Biggest news of my musical career so far, my song "Shaabaash" becomes the Anthem for Indian Athletes at the Commonwealth Games."
The song was played when Indian athletes were playing during the wrestling match on Friday.
The song "Shaabaash" is from the July 15 release of the Netflix film Jaadugar, starring Jitendra Kumar and Jaaved Jaaferi.
