Digital Desk: In a major operation in Khanapara, six drug-addicted youths have been apprehended by the Basistha Police.


 Along with them, a drug supplier from Meghalaya was also arrested during the operation. The arrested individual has been identified as Rahul. 


Authorities confiscated nearly 16.6 grams of heroin, 15 empty containers, one mobile phone, cash, and other items from the arrested supplier.


The apprehended youths have been sent to a rehabilitation center.


This comes just two days after another operation in Khanapara, where six more drug-addicted youths were apprehended by the police.


Along with them, Putu Changmai, a drug supplier and resident of Ri-Bhoi district, was also arrested.


All the apprehended youths have been sent to the rehabilitation centers for treatment and recovery.
