New Delhi: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) started a ‘Doctors at your Doorstep’ campaign in Bengaluru on August 16, 2021.

Revenue Minister R. Ashok flagged vehicles offering healthcare experts and BBMP medical doctors at the top workplace of the civic structure.

This personnel has been selected for numerous places throughout the city to govern the COVID-19 vaccine to citizens.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai aspires to ramp up vaccination in Karnataka. On August 9, he told reporters in Mysuru that Karnataka is shortly taking a mean of 65 lakh doses each month.

When Bommai met the Union Health Minister during his go to Delhi and asked for growth within the allocation. He was convinced that Karnataka could get one crore doses from August.

Mr. Bommai had requested the Centre to boost the allocation to 1.5 crore doses from September, facilitating the management of 5 lakh doses each day.

As per sources shared with the Health and Family Welfare media bulletin dated August 8, Karnataka had offered 3.29 crore doses.
