Shikhar Dhawan, who served as the interim captain for the recently finished West Indies ODI series, will take up the captaincy once again.

Digital Desk: The BCCI announced a 15-man squad on Saturday for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, which will begin on August 18.

Shikhar Dhawan, who served as the interim captain for the recently finished West Indies ODI series, will take up the captaincy once again. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, two-star players, have once again been rested for the series.

Deepak Chahar, a great all-rounder for CSK who has been absent from the international stage for six months, is all set to make a surprise comeback. It is to be noted that Chahar's back issue kept him away from playing. Kuldeep Yadav returns following a brilliant home tour against South Africa.

India's T20I matches after the West Indies series are in the Asia Cup, and then they play back-to-back, three-match home series against Australia and South Africa. One would hope that with the return of Kohli and KL Rahul, India finds time to choose their opening lineups and backup plans before it's too late.

Check out the full squad here:

The following players will be part of the Indian team for the three one-day internationals: Shikhar Dhawan (captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Avesh Khan, Prasidh Krishna.
