Digital Desk: The Women's Indian Premier League (WIPL) media rights invitation to tender was issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, December 9. (IPL).
One must pay INR 5,90,000 (INR 5,00,000 + 90,000 GST) if the acquiring entity is an Indian company. If the purchasing entity is international, payment for an amount equal to INR 5,00,000 must be made in United States Dollars (USD).
The Women's Indian Premier League Seasons 2023–2027 Media Rights are being requested by the IPL Governing Council through a tender procedure, according to a BCCI release.
The "Invitation to Tender" (ITT), which will be made available upon receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Only), plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax, contains all of the specific terms and conditions governing the tender process, including eligibility requirements, the procedure for submitting bids, proposed media rights packages, and obligations.
In this document's Annexure A, the steps to obtain the ITT documents are listed. The ITT will be on sale until December 31, 2022, according to the release.
The BCCI announced the commencement of the Women's IPL earlier this year. It was reported that the competition will have 22 matches and a playing XI could only have five foreign players.
The Women's T20 Challenge began in 2018 and has seen three versions in the past four years. The Women's IPL has not yet been shown, though. Many cricketers, both domestic and international, have suggested that the Women's IPL can increase public interest in women's cricket.
