Digital Desk: India thrashed Bangladesh by 227 runs in the third and final ODI on Saturday at Chattogram's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, however, the team lost the three-match series 1-2. 


Bangladesh was dismissed for a pitiful score of 182 in 34 overs while chasing a goal of 410. 


Shardul Thakur got three wickets for India, while Axar Patel and Umran Malik each claimed two. India posted a mammoth score of 409 for 8 in 50 overs with Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli decimating Bangladesh's bowling lineup. Virat Kohli scored 113 runs off 91 deliveries, while Ishan Kishan scored 210 runs off 131 balls. The duo put 290 runs on the board for the second wicket.


Bangladesh had won the toss and opted to bowl first in the game.
