Digital Desk: An event titled "Swahid Pranamo" was held today in Sipajhar, organised by the Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha to honour the martyrs of the Assam movement.


The event, centrally organised by the Yuva Morcha, aimed to commemorate the sacrifices made during the Assam movement.


State BJP president and MP Dilip Saikia, who participated in the event, emphasized that the martyrs' sacrifices will always be remembered.


A significant highlight of the occasion was the honouring of 63 martyr families from Darrang.


The event was graced by several distinguished figures, including Yuva Morcha state president Rakesh Das, Sipajhar MLA Dr. Paramanand Rajbangshi, and MLA Diplu Ranjan Sharma.


In addition, the government has planned to observe Martyr's Day in Guwahati on December 10.


Starting today, the members of Yuva Morcha will visit families of martyrs across the state to pay their respects.
