Digital Desk: Bitcoin's price plummeted below $20,000 on Wednesday, as top cryptocurrencies remain in the red. The world's biggest and most used cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, fell 1.62% to $19,989.70. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency in the world, dropped 3.03 per cent to $1,131.15, as per data from Coindesk.

"Bitcoin dropped back to the US$19,000 mark on Tuesday after surging above US$20,000 as bulls sold off their positions. Nearly 71% of Bitcoin's value has been lost since its all-time high, and 57% since the year's beginning," said, Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel.

"Ethereum is also down 70% on its year-to-date loss. As the bears appear to be more powerful than the bulls, market volatility continues," said Patel.

XRP dropped 2.01%, Solana dropped 1.87%, Cardano dropped 2.65 %, and Stellar dropped 2.71 %.

Dogecoin was up 1.57 per cent, Polkadot was up 1.46 per cent, Avalanche was up 8.26 per cent, and Shiba Inu was up 2.19 per cent, among other well-known cryptocurrencies.
