The Kaziranga or Kohora and Western or Bagori ranges would be the only two ranges of the park that will be partially open for vehicle safaris, according to the forest authorities.

Digital Desk: On Sunday, Assam's Kaziranga National Park, a place of global standing, officially welcomed visitors for the newest season.

The Kaziranga or Kohora and Western or Bagori ranges would be the only two ranges of the park that will be partially open for vehicle safaris, according to the forest authorities.

The decision to temporarily open the park to tourists was made in light of the current road conditions caused by adverse weather, according to Ramesh Gogoi, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Eastern Assam Wildlife Division.

Until further notice, Mr Gogoi stated, tourists would be permitted to travel from Mihimukh via Daflang tower to Vaichamari Junction under Kaziranga Range and from Bimoli Tiniali via Donga tower under Western Range.
