Digital Desk: A sensational incident has emerged from Champupara in Goroimari, South Kamrup.


Two days after a person was buried, authorities exhumed the body under police supervision.


The operation was conducted in the presence of the local magistrate, with assistance from Chhaygaon and Jorshimuli police.


The exhumed body was then sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for a post-mortem examination.


The deceased, identified as Natub Ali, a resident of Champupara village under Jorshimuli Police Station, reportedly died due to electrocution on December 4.


Following his death, his family buried him in the local Champupara burial ground without informing the authorities.


Upon receiving information about the burial, the administration, along with a large police team, exhumed the body early this morning to arrange for a post-mortem examination.


The incident has created a wave of shock and intense discussion throughout the region.
