Guwahati: In a major setback for the regional political party Raijor Dal, 70 organisations have withdrawn their support to the party citing anomalies in the party functioning. Some leaders have quit the party leadership alleging oddity in proper functioning of party affairs as most of the members are working for personal interests.
Raijor Dal was formed with the aim of overthrowing BJP power from Assam and provide a progressive regional alternative to the people of the state.

It was formed by firebrand Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti chief Akhil Gogoi on 8th January 2021.
