Digital Desk: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was allegedly beaten to death in Gujarat's Nadiad district after objecting to an indecent video of his daughter that circulated online.
Meljibhai Vaghela, a BSF jawan, went to the residence of a 15-year-old kid and protested to his family about his daughter's offensive video being disseminated online by the youngster. Vaghela accompanied his son Navdeep and his wife.
However, the adolescent boy's family began assaulting them. They attacked the jawan with sticks and sharp things when he complained. They also targeted his son.
The BSF jawan died on the scene, while his son suffered brain injuries and is being treated.
A case has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 302, 307, 322, 504, 143, 147, and 149, and additional investigation is underway.
