New Delhi: In an effort to bolster the tea industry of India as well as the tea workers of Assam and Bengal, the Finance Minister announced a package of Rs 1,000 crore for tea garden workers. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is currently presenting a 6-pillared budget 2021 with a focus on health and infrastructure.

Apart from tea garden workers, the Finance Minister also informed that 5 major fishing hubs are to be developed to promote the fisheries sector. Additionally, a sea weed park is also being planned in Tamil Nadu. Avanti feeds waterbase and apex frozen foods are the stocks that are expected to benefit from this.

The Finance Minister further added that this year's Budget aims to double the income of the farmers of the country.
