Digital Desk: Gauripur police have apprehended three individuals, including a woman, during an anti-drug raid.


The operation was led by Chiranjeev Lahon, Officer-in-Charge of Gauripur Police Station, and took place on the morning of July 16 in Dampur 2nd Block village, Gauripur.


Authorities conducted a raid at the residence of Jelekha Khatun, where they seized 45.82 grams of brown sugar, three mobile phones, and Rs 13,400 in cash.


Jelekha Khatun, along with two young men identified as Rezzak Ali and Sahadat Ali, was taken into custody for further investigation.


According to police reports, Jelekha Khatun has a history of involvement in illegal drug sales.


The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated as part of the ongoing investigation.
