Digital Desk: The Kamrup city district regional transport authority met in the meeting room of the city district collector On Friday. Pallav Gopal Jha, DC, Kamrup(M), presided over a Regional Transport Authority meeting attended by officials, stakeholders, and representatives from transportation organisations. 


Various issues concerning the regulation of city buses and cab aggregators were also discussed.


DC, Kamrup(M) Shri Pallav Gopal Jha chaired a meeting of the Regional Transport Authority in presence of officials, stakeholders and representatives from transport organizations. Various issues pertaining to regulation of city busses and cab aggregators etc. were discussed.

The purpose of the meeting was to determine and control the fares of city buses plying on various city roads, the E-ticketing system, proper application of the Supreme Court's directions in the case of school buses, set commercial vehicle Ola Uber fares and stop evil behaviour and harassment of passengers, metro share taxi from Pathar Kuwari to Amsing, Jorabat to Digaru-Sonapur and Path Kawari to Azara evening market.


Action is taken to implement the issues by thoroughly discussing important issues, such as installing station name plates at city bus stations.
