Digital Desk: In a chilling incident in Geruwa, Bagapara, Baksa, 17-year-old Susmita Baro, a teenager was brutally murdered by her boyfriend, is currently on the run. The incident occurred on Monday evening when the couple, who had been in a romantic relationship for over a year, went to a nearby field, where the boyfriend allegedly attacked and killed Susmita.

Her lifeless body was discovered the following morning (30th Dec, Tuesday) by a local resident who had gone to the field to tend cattle. The resident immediately informed the family, who alerted the police and medical team.

Baksa police rushed to the scene and sent the body to Mushalpur Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. Susmita’s father and relatives have filed a murder complaint againsther boyfriend. The police have launched a manhunt to arrest the accused and are investigating the case further.

The incident has created panic situation through the local community, raising concerns about youth violence and safety.
