On September 30, Rahul Gandhi, who has been leading the yatra while continually walking, arrived in Gundlupet, Karnataka.

Digital Desk: The interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi will walk with the Bharat Jodo Yatra participants on October 6 in Karnataka. She will be taking part in the padyatra for the first time; it started when Gandhi was away for a medical examination. With Karnataka, which is run by the BJP, preparing to have Assembly elections next year, the protracted march has hit a vital phase.

Over the course of 21 days, the Yatra will traverse 511 kilometres of Karnataka. Kanyakumari was the starting point on September 7, and it entered Karnataka on Friday after travelling through Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It intends to go through up to 12 states in five months at a speed of roughly 25 kilometres each day.

Without providing specific dates, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will both take part in the Karnataka leg of the "Bharat Jodo Yatra," according to D K Shivakumar, the head of the Karnataka Congress party. He had previously stated that the pertinent information would be made accessible later.

AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal had stated, "In Karnataka, Congress President Sonia Gandhi may attend the Bharat Jodo Yatra some day, and Priyanka Gandhi would also be joining separately."
