According to the health ministry website, the national COVID-19 recovery rate was 98.68%, and active cases currently make up 0.13 percent of all infections.

Digital Desk: The number of coronavirus infections in India climbed by 10,093, while the number of active cases rose to 57,542, according to figures provided on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry.

The number of deaths  has increased to 5,31,114 with 23 deaths.

According to the statistics updated at 8 am, five deaths were reported from Delhi, three each from Chattisgarh and Rajasthan, two from Karnataka and Maharashtra, one from each of Haryana, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand, and four deaths were reconciled by Kerala.

Both the daily and weekly positive rates were noted to be 5.61 and 4.78 percent respectively. The total for the Covid case was 4.47 crore (4,48,18,115).

A total number of 4,42,29,459 persons have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate has been reported at 1.19 percent.

The website of the ministry reports that the country has already received 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine as part of the ongoing national vaccination campaign.
