Guwahati: Amidst the rising cases of covid-19, Assam is reportedly facing a shortage of covid vaccine with officials confirming that the existing stock might exhaust in two to three days.

Currently, the State has around 2.70 lakh doses of vaccine.
On Thursday, around 54,000 people were inoculated and on Friday the number was touching almost 55,000, NHM officials said.

The state continues to witness a spike in everyday cases of covid with Guwahati touching the 100 bar every single day.
