Digital Desk: In a bid to curb drunk driving and enhance road safety, the Guwahati Traffic Police on 2nd May, conducted extensive alcohol testing drives across various parts of Guwahati.The crackdown targeted people driving under the influence of alcohol, as part of a wider initiative to ensure safer roads and maintain public order. Officials stated that strict action is being taken against offenders found violating traffic and safety regulations.
The Guwahati Police, in coordination with the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and other government agencies, is actively working towards making the city more peaceful and secure.
