Digital Desk: A terrifying road accident took place late last night in Dhing, where a four-wheeler was completely gutted in flames following a collision. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. at Dhing Chariali on the Dhing–Moirabari–Garkaptani road.
As per report, , a TATA Altroz bearing registration number AS 02 AG 6649 was parked by the roadside when a speeding Hyundai car (AS 01 GH 3612) coming from the opposite direction lost control and rammed into it. The impact was so powerful that the engine of the Altroz immediately caught fire, engulfing the entire vehicle within moments.
The four wheeler was reduced to ashes before emergency services could fully contain the flames. Dhing Police and the Fire and Emergency Services rushed immediately and doused the fire, seizing both vehicles; later, they moved them to the police station.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in this horrific accident; though it sparked panic among nearby residents.
