Donald Trump was included in the Bloomberg list of the 500 richest people in the world on Monday, March 25

Digital Desk: Donald Trump's net worth has doubled to $6.5 billion, catapulting him into the world's 500 wealthiest individuals. This significant increase in wealth coincided with the finalisation of the deal for his social media venture, Truth Social, to go public.

The financial achievements of Trump highlight his ongoing impact and economic strength, even beyond his time as US President. His rise to the top ranks of the world's wealthiest people highlights his long-lasting influence on the corporate world.

Donald Trump was included in the Bloomberg list of the 500 richest people in the world on Monday, March 25. This followed a $4 billion increase in his net worth to an astounding $6.5 billion (Rs 53,789 crore). Significantly, this represents a sharp increase from his prior peak of $3.1 billion (about Rs 25,732 crore), which was primarily comprised of his real estate assets.

The surge in Trump's net worth reflects the potential profitability of Truth Social and his incursion into the competitive social media market. With the company poised to go public, investors are observing it with anticipation, buoyed by Trump's massive online following and his ability to generate buzz and engagement.

The most recent event transpired after he was given a deadline to post a bond in an over $500 million fraud case in New York. A state appeals court gave Trump some reprieve, reducing the amount he had to post to $175 million, much to his delight.

As chairman and significant shareholder of the new company, Trump has received a multibillion-dollar windfall from the completion of the agreement between Digital World Acquisition Corp. and Trump Media.
