Digital Desk: Team India's T20 World Cup campaign may not have gone well, but the team's opening game against Pakistan is one that both cricket fans and ex-players will remember fondly. At the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), India won on the last ball, owing in large part to Virat Kohli, who had an outstanding evening.
When the team successfully chased down 160 runs at the MCG, Kohli was unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls.
The straight six Kohli hit on a length delivery over the bowler's head at one point in his innings stunned everyone, including Haris Rauf, and is still remembered today.

In an interview on Pakistan's well-known programme "Hasna Mana Hai," Haris finally opened up about the incident. Rauf responded that the shot "hurt" him when asked about his immediate response.
"Of course, it was painful when that resulted in a six. Even though I remained silent, it personally hurt me. I thought something was wrong, "Haris remarked.
The Pakistani speedster, however, went on to say that it's highly probable Kohli won't attempt the shot again, citing how uncommon it is for cricketers to attempt such shots. "His style of play is well known to anyone familiar with cricket. Given that he has once attempted that shot, I doubt he will be able to do so again. As you can't strike them again, such shots are relatively uncommon. He struck the ball with impeccable timing, going for a six "the runner stated.
In contrast to India, who lost to Jos Buttler's team by a margin of 10 wickets in the semi-finals, Pakistan had advanced to the tournament's final before being defeated by England.
