The Dutch-based company will use the company's own technology to deliver a group-wide digital work environment for 18,000 end users.

Digital Desk: HCL Technologies (HCL) announced on Monday that it has entered into a multi-year agreement to help Dutch health and nutrition multinational DSM modernise its core IT business systems.

By establishing a group-wide digital work environment that is seamlessly connected, HCL will provide digital transformation solutions for DSM. Thanks to HCL, around 18,000 end users will have access to IT service delivery solutions through 200 sites in more than 50 countries.

"We wanted to move away from a landscape with multiple vendors and work with a single integration partner who has the deep expertise to support the advancement of our digital ambitions." DSM's chief digital officer, Ipek Ozsuer, said that HCL is a perfect transformation partner because they share DSM's values and prioritise sustainability in our digital roadmap.

The business units and product lines of DSM will undergo widespread transformation thanks to HCL's Fenix 2.0 digital execution framework.

According to Ashish Kumar Gupta, chief growth officer for Europe and Africa at HCL Technologies, "This engagement is a testament to our successful track record in working closely with clients to support digital transformation across their business."
