Local artists from Meghalaya will also get a chance to showcase their talent on this global platform.
 
Digital Desk: As the global music star Ed Sheeran will perform in Shillong.  Fans are highly excited for Ed Sheeran's live loop station performance where he produces complete songs by playing beats, melodies and harmonies through real-time interaction. This will be the first time that an artist of this stature  will take stage in  Shillong at JN Stadium.

Sheeran will perform his songs starting with Castle on the Hill followed by Shivers and I’m a Mess and A Team and Give Me Love and Don’t and Lego House and I See Fire and Eyes Closed and Dive and Thinking Out Loud and Happier and Love Yourself and Sing and One and Photograph and Tenerife Sea and Perfect and Bloodstream as well as Afterglow and You Need Me and Shape of You and Bad Habits in that specific performing sequence.

The concert will begin with a performance by Kayan who stands as one of India’s emerging Indie talents during the opening show. Millions of fans recognize her for combining elements of R&B electronic and alternative music genres.
Additionally, local artists who perform in Meghalaya will utilize this global concert as an opportunity to present their artistic talent to the world. While official names are yet to be confirmed, however, sources indicate Shillong's well-known musicians from Shillong’s vibrant rock and folk scene might be part of the lineup.

Sheeran plans to revisit You Need Me I Don’t Need You during his performance which will combine his past hits with fresh musical innovation and energetic stage presence. Shillong recently gained the "Rock Capital of India” is all set to host the most memorable music event showcasing thrilling performances amidst passionate audiences.
