A fresh advisory from the council demands doctors to immediately file their registration since this new requirement is now mandatory.

According to Dr. Sushanta Roy, chairman of the council,  around 3,804 doctors have registered with the council with 1,022 employed by the government sector. Registration completion has become essential for doctors yet numerous medical professionals have not finished their required registration process.
