Digital Desk: A tragic road accident occurred in front of the Saligram Petrol Depot in Margherita when a speeding four-wheeler collided head-on with a bicycle, leaving a man and his young son seriously injured.
The vehicle involved, bearing registration number AS-06-X-9615, was travelling from the opposite direction when it struck the cyclist.
The injured man has been identified as Debananda Das, a resident of Dihingporia, Margherita.
His young son, who was with him at the time, also sustained significant injuries in the crash.
The sudden collision created a sense of panic in the area.
With the prompt help of local residents, the injured were rushed to the hospital.
