France final team to qualify for the next stage of the competition, defeating England in the process...

Digital Desk: In terms of participation in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals, Europe has two countries - France and Croatia, the winner and runner-up of the FIFA World Cup 2018. Lionel Messi's Argentina will represent South America, while Morocco will represent Africa.

All of the quarter-finals matches have been fiercely contested, with Croatia vs. Brazil and Argentina vs. Netherlands going to penalties. Morocco vs. Portugal, on the other hand, ended 1-0 as a 10-man Morocco held off Cristiano Ronaldo's side. In the final game of the qualifying round, France defeated England 2-1.

Argentina will face Croatia in the semi-finals, while France will face the semi-finalists for the first time.

Brazil and England, two FIFA World Cup titans, have been eliminated from the competition. While Brazil's defeat stunned the team, England suffered the price for Harry Kane's failure to convert a second-half penalty.

The game's refereeing standards have been called into question. While Argentina slammed the referee for the number of cards it received in the quarterfinals, Portugal slammed FIFA for being prejudiced towards Lionel Messi's team.

The bouts will take place on December 14 and 15, at 12:30 a.m. IST.
