Four of the complex's houses were completely destroyed by the fire that started around 5:30 p.m.

Digital Desk: The Chataibari community in Dhamdhama in the Nalbari district saw a residential complex fire on February 5 evening that destroyed property valued at several thousands of rupees, including cash, official documents, and a motorcycle.

Four of the complex's houses were completely destroyed by the fire that started around 5:30 p.m.

Owner of the complex Prabhat Badyakar gave the media an update on the incident.

"This fire has destroyed all I own. My formal papers, including my Voter ID, PAN, jewellery, some cash, and a recently purchased motorcycle, all burned to ashes in a matter of minutes, he claimed.

“ I was not present at home when the fire broke out. My neighbours informed me when the rage began. I don’t know what caused the fire. Some even said of hearing cylinder blasts after the fire broke out,” he added.

Later, fire tenders arrived and doused the fire.
