Following the incredible success of the 15th season of the IPL, BCCI has decided to recognise the curators and groundsmen of all six IPL 2022 locations.


Digital Desk: Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), announced the prize money of Rs 1.25 crore for the 'unsung heroes' of the IPL 2022 on Monday.


This season's IPL trophy holder Gujarat Titans (GT), were proclaimed winners of the Indian Premier League 2022 on Sunday, defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.




In a tweet, Jay Shah announced the incentive for curators and groundsmen across six IPL locations this season, and his tweet reads, "I'm thrilled to announce that the men who played the finest games in #TATAIPL 2022 will receive a prize of INR 1.25 crores. Our curators and groundsmen are this season's hidden heroes at all six IPL locations."



"We've seen some high-octane games, and I'd like to congratulate them for their efforts. CCI, Wankhede, DY Patil, and MCA each received 25 lacs, while Eden and Narendra Modi Stadium each received 12.5 lacs, "Shah continued in the following tweet.



Hardik Pandya led from the front in the IPL final in Ahmedabad, with an all-around performance that helped Gujarat Titans win their first IPL title with a clinical 7-wicket victory.
