Both Sciver and Brunt were members of England's World Cup squad, which had reached the tournament's final.

Digital Desk: 2017 World Cup-winning cricketers Katherine Brunt and Nat Sciver got married over the weekend.

Isa Guha, the former England pacer, sharing the picture of the duo's marriage on one of her Instagram stories, wrote: "Proud, Love you both."

Moreover, the official Twitter handle of England Cricket also congratulated the couple on getting married and wrote, "Our warmest congratulations to Katherine Brunt & Nat Sciver who got married over the weekend."

Notably, Sciver and Brunt have now become yet another cricketing couple after South Africa's Marizanne Kapp  and Dane van Niekerk, New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu

Both Sciver and Brunt were members of England's World Cup squad, which had reached the tournament's final.

Australia was defeated in the final by England, which had won the World Cup in 2017 after defeating India at Lord's Cricket Stadium in London.

Brunt has taken 316 wickets in 14 Tests, 140 One-Day Internationals, and 96 Twenty-20 Internationals for England. Moreover, she had taken four wickets in four matches for England during this year's World Cup.

Sciver, on the other hand, has played for England in seven Tests, 89 One-Day Internationals, and 91 Twenty20 Internationals. Sciver batted undefeated for 148 runs in the 2022 Women's World Cup final against Australia.

Sciver was the third-highest run-scorer in the 2022 World Cup, with 436 runs in eight games, including 148 in the championship match.
