Digital Desk: Former Assam Minister and senior Congress leader Akon Bora resigned from his positions on both the Election Committee and the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee on August 16. In a letter addressed to All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge, Bora expressed his decision with deep respect and responsibility.

Bora's resignation comes after careful thought and is described as a decision made with great seriousness. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Indian National Congress, highlighting that his dedication to the party's principles and values remains strong.
