Digital Desk: Four prisoners have escaped from the Tinsukia–Sadiya Jail, triggering a major security alert in the area.As per reports, the inmates fled after scaling the prison boundary wall using clothes as rope , late on 4th February.

 

The escaped prisoners have been identified as Nabin Buragohain, Amlan Jyoti Chetia, Shashidhar Deuri, and Sontu Sonowal.Security forces have launched a massive search operation to trace the escapees.


 An investigation has also been initiated to determine how the prisoners managed to breach security and flee the jail.
