Digital Desk: A shocking robbery incident in Jorhat has sparked widespread panic among residents. The incident took place late Sunday night at ABG Heights, a residential flat complex near the Na-Ali flyover.
Around 1:30 am, a group of four armed robbers entered the premises, equipped with sticks and iron weapons.
They gained access to the complex from the back of the apartment and specially targeted locked flats.
The gang began their raid in A block, proceeded to B and C blocks, and looted valuables from three flats across the buildings.
The robbers managed to loot gold jewellery and other valuable items during their spree, which lasted from 1:30 am to 3:40 am.
Despite residents alerting the police during the robbery, the gang fled before authorities could arrive.
Following the incident, the police detained the security personnel responsible for the complex's safety for questioning.
CCTV footage has been collected to identify the robbers, and investigations are ongoing.
The residents of the peaceful Na-Ali area have been left deeply unsettled by this alarming event.
