Guwahati: Bringing laurels to the nation and her home state Assam, boxer Lovlina Borgohain is now being presented with special gifts and treats from various organizations and business establishments. Lovlina has been provided with a lifetime free travel pass by bus owners of Assam.
Lovlina can now move around in the entire Northeast as much as she wants. She receives a special free travel pass from the Association of bus owners of Assam, AALBOAA.
Since her winning spree in the Olympics and eventually bringing the bronze to the country, the state has been showering her with love and respect, along with various awards as per the sports policy. Apart from cash rewards by the state government of Assam and a government job, various business establishments have gifted the boxer with some special treats.
Just two days ago, one of the top meat production companies based in Assam, Symbiotic Foods announced a free slice of Gahoree for Lovlina. The company will supply packaged pork to the Assam Olympic medalist for the next five years.
The road leading to Lovlina Borgohain's house took was constructed and leveled properly ahead of her arrival.
