It may be mentioned that the UP Investors Summit is in its third year. The first summit took place in 2018, and the second will take place in 2019.

Digital Desk: Gautam Adani, the chairman of  Adani Group, announced on Friday that his company would invest 70,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the creation of 30,000 jobs in the state.

Adani remarked at the Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit 2022, "In the state, we are investing over 70,000 crores. Over 30,000 jobs are expected to be created as a result of this investment."

"Of this investment, 11,000 crore have already been spent across our transmission, green energy, water, agri-logistics, and our data centre sector," Adani Group chairman stated.

"We're also investing 24,000 crore in road and transportation infrastructure, as well as 35,000 crore in multi-model logistics and defence," he added.

Gautam Adani stated that the Adani Group is working to build the largest munitions plant in South Asia in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He stated, "This is the largest private sector investment in the UP defensive corridor."

"Our big investments demonstrate our belief that today's Uttar Pradesh will define tomorrow's India," he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Adani, is constructing a new India that strives to reclaim its former greatness. CM Yogi Adityanath is laying the groundwork for Uttar Pradesh's trillion-dollar economy.

"Honourable Prime Minister, I had the privilege of closely observing as you conceptualised, executed, and institutionalised an economic model driven by a tremendous focus on industrialisation and balanced development for all from the day you became Chief Minister of Gujarat, and now as Prime Minister, you are implementing the same Gujarat model across the country, and the effect is transformational," Adani said.

He went on to say, "Uttar Pradesh is a symbol of this quantum leap forward."

The investors' summit's "ground-breaking" ceremony was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister lay the foundation stone for 1,406 projects costing over 80,000 crores in the state on this occasion.
