Digital Desk: Team India Head Coach and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir arrived at Kamakhya Temple under tight security on Monday morning. He went straight to the Temple for Darshan at 7:30 a.m. from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI), Guwahati. 

His visit comes ahead of India's five-match Test series against England starting June 20, part of the 2025-27 ICC World Test Championship.

Team India's new era of Test cricket has begun as Shubman Gill replaces Rohit Sharma as the new Test captain.

After Indian cricket greats Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from Test cricket, Shubhman Gill was officially named the captain, while Rishabh Pant was listed as the new vice-captain of the team.  

The five-match Test series against England is scheduled to take place from June 20 to August 4, 2025.
