  • GMCH has again landed in another controversy
  • A video highlighted a disruption in the water supply inside GMCH premises
  • The absence of water in bathrooms and toilets has caused significant distress among patients and their families

Digital Desk: The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has again landed in another controversy after a video highlighted a disruption in the water supply inside GMCH premises.

Despite extensive media coverage of GMCH's internal issues, the authorities have again displayed a lack of concern.

Even during daytime hours, the absence of water in bathrooms and toilets has caused significant distress among patients and their families.

The disruption of the water supply was exposed in a video shared by a patient’s relatives.

Shockingly, some individuals have been spotted selling water near bathrooms and toilets within GMCH premises, forcing patients to purchase water from these vendors.

This has sparked speculation about whether the water supply is being deliberately shut off at GMCH to facilitate this business.

Patients and their relatives have now demanded an inquiry into the matter through an investigation to identify those responsible for the disruption of the water supply within the hospital premises.
