Meanwhile, Jos Buttler's sensational IPL 2022 season came to an end with a respectable performance against Gujarat Titans in the final, where he was removed for 39 by Titans skipper Hardik Pandya.
With wickets coming at the other end, Buttler was holding the Royals innings together, but Hardik bowled a brilliant delivery in the channel outside the off stump and got a thin edge, which was caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha.
Buttler's departure meant he finished the season with 863 runs from 17 matches, putting him in a strong position to win the Orange Cap this season for the most runs scored in the IPL 2022.
