Digital Desk: Maini Mahanta, the renowned writer and journalist, and Editor of Nandini Magazine, has been selected as the winner of this year's Guno Mahantadev Award.
Additionally, August 27 marks the late popular singer Guno Mahanta's fifth death anniversary, rerding the auspicious occasion the prize will be awarded by Srimanta Gopaldev Kalakshetra in Nagaon.
In past years, the prize was given to journalist Mukul Das, senior advocate Niranjan Sharma, and police officer Nanda Singh Borkala.
