Dispur: Steering ahead in their efforts to curb the drug menace in the state, Assam Police arrested yet another group of drug peddlers, and recovered heroin and mobile phones from them.
The Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) SOG and Paltanbazar police, in a joint operation, arrested four heroin peddlers from Gandhi Basti and the Kharguli area.
Police have recovered 5 grams of heroin, 230 empty vials, five soapboxes, and 45 mobile phones from their place.
The peddlers were identified as Selim Ahmed (38), Ronak Pratim Mazumdar (37), Idrish Ali (30), and Sushil Boro (52).
Further investigation is going on to find out the links about the same.
