Digital Desk: A female lawyer has made explosive allegations against a man named Nabajyoti Deka of Hojai.
She accused Nabajyoti of deceiving her under the pretext of marriage and engaging in a physical relationship.
The lawyer, who had been romantically involved with Nabajyoti for almost ten years, filed a case against him at the Dispur police station.
During their relationship, the two lived together in a rented house in Borbari, Guwahati.
The lawyer claims that Nabajyoti had been exploiting her financially, taking over Rs 5 lakh from her in the name of a car loan.
Despite their romantic involvement, Nabajyoti allegedly continued to maintain relationships with other women.
For the past one and a half years, Nabajyoti had been avoiding the lawyer, prompting her to file a complaint against him at the police station.
Acting on her allegations, Dispur police arrested Nabajyoti on Thursday night from Arya Apartment in Jyotinagar.
