Digital Desk: Holy Child School in Chandmari, Guwahati, is back in controversy once again after claims on Thursday of mental harassment by a teacher on an eighth-standard student.
The eight-standard student claimed that after several instances of mental harassment, she broke down completely. The victim student is reportedly receiving therapy as a result.
According to reports, the student was publicly humiliated by the accused teacher for a very small mistake on her part. She experienced a mental breakdown as a result, necessitating professional counseling.
In the meantime, the student's parents reported the incident to Chandmari Police through a formal complaint. Holy Child School is once again under investigation because of this case.
It is to be noted that a previous instance of sexual assault on a young girl pupil inside a school bus had harmed the school's reputation.
