Digital Desk: Nagaon police launched an operation in Nagaon to arrest two notorious cybercriminals. The suspects, identified as Yasmin Ahmed and Asadul Islam, were taken into custody by the Guwahati police.
In December, the Nagaon police had arrested the duo along with multiple SIM cards. The two criminals are accused of looting nearly ₹1.4 crore from a local resident in Guwahati. Both suspects are residents of Shimluguri in Nagaon.
This evening, the police team is scheduled to escort the two criminals back to Guwahati for further investigation.
