Digital Desk: A distressing incident has unfolded in Sivasagar, creating a wave of concern as three individuals, including a teenage girl and a young woman, have gone missing.
The missing persons include a 14-year-old girl, her father, and a young woman.
The missing individuals are residents of Jugania village and Mornoi Kinar village, both under the jurisdiction of Sivasagar Sadar Police Station.
Naresh Das, a resident of Jugania village and his daughter, a Class 8 student, have been untraceable since January 28.
Simultaneously, a young woman identified as Riza Bailung from Mornoi Kinar village has also disappeared.
Family members revealed that the three had reportedly left together to visit the city for a haircut but have not returned.
Both families have filed separate complaints at the Sivasagar Sadar Police Station.
Notably, it has been confirmed that the families of Naresh Das and Riza Bailung were previously acquainted.
